Taking nature as a blueprint, NanotecMARIN developed natural polymers, Biosilica, Biopolyphosphate and Biocalcite that are able to induce proliferation and differentiation of human cells, especially of bone cells. Those morphogenetic polymers can be organized to a scaffold which is characterized by extensive bio-compatibility, bio-resorption and even bio-integration. This basic scaffold has superior properties and can be specifically fabricated for different tissue implants, e.g. bone, cornea and blood vessels.

 

 

As the first step in the process of commercialization of the achieved innovations and to reach our final goal, the placement of a “regeneratively active bone implant material” on the market, we appeared on the market with an anti-aging cosmetics. This product is already sold in stores and in the internet under the product line “mareSano Marine-Nature-Anti-Aging-Crème” (http://www.maresano.ch/). The cosmetics line is registered in Switzerland and has obtained the required safety certification.

The next step in the commercialization of our platform technology is the development of the toothpaste/dentifrice that indeed is able to re-seal teeth defects, both opened dentinal tubules and caries lesions. Additionally, it has an anti-caries potential. This product line is named “dentoReseal™“. For this direction we have not yet a company/investor partner. A controlled patient study is already running.

The final goal will be the development of the regenerative orthopedic/dental implants. To achieve this aim we need a larger/large company which takes this intension and simultaneously adopt this view as its own, together with us.

At present the only risk we can anticipate is the lack of money needed for the further developmental steps.
